Innovative daylight systems like LIF Light Guide promote a healthier and more pleasant
room lighting increasing the well-being and the motivation of users.
A large number of studies shows, that a higher share of daylight improves the productivity
of employees as well as the efficiency of students. It is also good for health: In mainly
daylit offices the employees are 7% less absent by illness.
Profits made by higher motivation and productivity of employees are not easy to quantify.
But these so-called soft factors get more and more significant and present an important
saving potential that tops even the maximum reduction of the annual energy cost.
Studies found out for example, that a 10% higher performance would result in 50 EUR/m²
profit per year based on annual personnel cost of about 500 EUR/m² office area.
This potential can be used by daylight systems like LIF.
